Timex first licensed Peanuts characters in the mid‑1950s and introduced Snoopy watches in 1965; these simple, pin‑pallet mechanical models became popular in the 1970s because they were affordable and featured playful animations. This 1976 red‑dial edition belongs to the Petite/Character series and uses a manual‑wind Timex M100 movement. The dial is bright red with black Arabic numerals and shows Snoopy mid‑dance; his outstretched arms serve as the hour and minute hands, while Woodstock rides on the tip of the red seconds hand. The case is chrome‑plated base metal with a stainless‑steel back and measures about 25 mm across, so it wears small and is well suited to collectors of vintage character watches. It has drilled lugs for easy strap changes and comes mounted on a new red leather strap.
